Exploring and Experimenting with New Trends
Posted by Danielle Celio on Aug 8th 2024
Fashion is one of my favorite forms of self-expression. I love that I can share my mood and confidence through my clothing! While I love my capsule style, it’s also exciting to branch out and experiment with something new. In today’s post, I’m sharing three outfits that are a different aesthetic for me!
One of the latest trends right now is the white maxi skirt. I’ve had this floral white skirt in my closet for ages but never knew how to style it. I paired it with my favorite cropped white tank and tan sandals for a boho-chic aesthetic. I love this trend on social media and I’m so happy I was able to style it by using pieces in my closet!
I have to admit, I used to stay far away from denim shorts. As a curvy girl, it’s always been hard for me to find a fit that I love. However, with the recent trend of mid-length and dad shorts, I’ve enjoyed incorporating them into my summer style. I grabbed these dad shorts and paired them with a staple bodysuit for an easy summer outfit. I love how seamlessly this came together with my checkered claw clip and a super trendy bubble bag!
I’ve seen this style of jumpsuit all over my Pinterest feed lately. I finally decided to try one after being inspired by how cute it looked styled. It’s the perfect piece for August and September when I’m trying to channel fall vibes while the weather is still warm. This jumpsuit was so cozy to wear while shopping and I love how I can pair any kind of bodysuit underneath it!
I hope today’s post has inspired you to explore new styles in your daily wardrobe! Plato’s Closet is an excellent destination for discovering new and exciting pieces. They regularly receive new items, offering an extensive selection and an affordable way to find trendy brand names at a lower cost! I’m always trying to build my lineup of clothes to express myself in different ways. Remember that fashion is a great way to express yourself, so don’t be scared to try something new!
