A Guide to Holiday Fashion and Feeling Your Best

Posted by Danielle Celio on Dec 5th 2024

The holiday season is hands down one of my favorite times of the year! I love the joyful feeling and the many festive activities. It’s a time when I feel more social and connected, whether it’s enjoying dinner with friends, spending cozy nights baking treats or celebrating with family. The season is filled with so many special moments, and I love dressing my best to make those memories even more memorable. In today’s post, I'm excited to share three versatile outfits that are perfect for any holiday occasion.

Red is primarily the staple color of this season; however, I love giving green it’s moment to shine. Green goes well with my complexion and it’s a holiday color that often gets overlooked. I decided to wear this satin top with ripped black jeans to give my outfit the perfect combination of put-together and edgy. This shade of green is also the perfect color to contrast pops of gold or pink!

I have lots of baking and movie nights planned this season. I love getting dressed up, but when it comes to cozy nights in with my friends I like to keep my outfits more casual and comfier. Recently, I’ve been loving wide legged pants like sweats, jeans and joggers! I like to pair those bottoms with a cropped sweater to make it the perfect warm and stylish fit. For this look, I opted for a monochromatic vibe to keep it versatile— perfect for adding pops of colors with accessories for a bolder statement, or pairing with white sneakers for a more laid-back style. Holiday fashion doesn’t have to be extravagant; what matters most is feeling your best, especially when you're with the people you love.

To spice up my holiday styles, I often like to incorporate the latest trends into them. For instance, quilted jackets have been my go-to lately when the weather gets cold. This jacket reminds me of the festive plants and flowers like mistletoe, which gets me in the perfect holiday mood. A chic floral jacket or vest paired with wide-leg jeans and your go-to platform sneakers is a trend to try this season. Plato’s Closet is the ideal place to find trendy clothing and accessories, with fresh pieces arriving daily at affordable prices. It’s a great way to update your wardrobe without splurging.

I hope this post inspired you with ideas for your holiday outfits this season! Remember, the most important thing is creating memories with the people you love, and a great outfit can make those moments even more special.
