Join Our Team at Plato’s Closet Southaven, MS! We’re hiring for several positions, including Stocker, Sales Representative, Buyer, and Shift Leader.
Stocker: Limited positions available, primarily in the summer. This role is responsible for efficiently filling the sales floor, meeting filling quotas, organizing sections, and maintaining cleanliness in the backroom and workstation. Candidates must be able to squat, bend, turn, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Sales Representative: This key role involves all aspects of retail, including cleaning and organizing clothing and supplies, managing fitting rooms, and ensuring loss prevention through excellent customer service. Responsibilities include operating a cash register, engaging with customers, staying organized during busy periods, and meeting sales quotas.
Buyer: In addition to the responsibilities of a Sales Representative, the Buyer must stay updated on high-demand tween, teen, and young adult fashion. This role involves making informed purchasing decisions based on sales reports and trends. The Buyer is also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Shift Leader: The Shift Leader oversees the Stocker, Sales Rep, and Buyer roles while leading the team. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store, delegating tasks efficiently, ensuring all checklists are completed, and handling customer inquiries. Shift Leaders must model company values and motivate their team while adhering to loss prevention and safety procedures.
