We buy styles for all seasons, all day, every day, with no appointment necessary. Each location is individually owned and operated, so it's easy to support local while shopping sustainably and affordably.
How should I bring in my clothes?
Here at Plato's Closet Johnson City, we ask that all clothes are brought in off of hangers, have been freshly laundered, and are in a reusable container and/or bag. Examples of acceptable containers for buy use are laundry baskets, boxes, tote bags, and reusable shopping bags. Please note that we will not provide any bins or bags for buy use, and we do not accept trash bags.
What types of clothes does Plato's Closet accept?
We accept gently used teen and young adult casual wear. This excludes any children's or junior sizes, formal/business wear, scrubs, or uniforms. We are not season specific and buy based on our inventory needs. See our Current Inventory Needs section for more information.
What are your buying hours?
We buy all day, every day! Here are our current buy hours:
