Duties Assist the Store Manager in supervising daily store activities, including sales, merchandising, and customer service. Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Oversee employee orientation, training, and development to ensure staff are knowledgeable about products, policies, and procedures. Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability. Handle cash operations such as cashiering, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management with accuracy and integrity. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees. Ensure compliance with company policies on payroll, bookkeeping, and store safety protocols. Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store traffic and sales performance. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques. Knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, and cash handling procedures. Ability to perform administrative tasks such as budgeting, bookkeeping, and payroll processing accurately. Demonstrated organizational skills with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in customer service excellence, cashiering, merchandising, and stock management is highly desirable.
