Plato’s Closet pays cash on the spot for gently used items that are in current style and in great condition. We buy styles for all seasons, all day, every day, with no appointment necessary. We strive to provide our community a cool place to shop with good music, a fun atmosphere, great clothes and organization for ease of shopping. We also offer our customers a sustainable shopping experience by buying and selling gently used items that come straight from our communities.

We offer cash-on-the-spot for your items - no consignment here! If you are shopping while selling, you can trade for 10% off your items (same day, same transaction, of course).
What are the details, like how can I sell my stuff?
Bring your freshly laundered items in an open-container (we do accept trash bags, but these items hold wrinkles, we are looking for items we can sell quickly and go straight to our racks).
Bring in trendy, brand-name items in good condition. Not all items that are in great condition are purchased. We are more trendy focused than anything.
Always bring in your ID, we cannot give cash for your items without it! And your phone allows an easier check in process, so bring that with you, too.
Do I need to make an appointment to sell my items?
Never! We process all items same day. So, if you are shopping while we process your buy, you can get 10% off with a trade. If you need to sit in your car, or leave to run errands, you will need to come back same day.
Does Plato's Closet have fitting rooms?
Yes! We have fitting rooms to try on a select number of items as a time. However, please note, no large purses or tote bags are allowed in fitting rooms. We also have one ADA compliant fitting room for those that need access. All fitting room doors are locked until our team member counts your items, and lets you in.
How does Plato's Closet price their items? What items does Plato's NOT buy?
We have this fancy computer that does all the pricing for us! We tell it the brand, size, condition of the item, and it gives us a price! Generally our items are 50-70% off regular retail, and we pay out 30-50% of our price!
We do not buy kids sizes (please visit our sister store Once Upon A Child just down the street), home decor, undergarments/hygiene items, furniture, formal/special occasion wear, workwear/uniforms, out of date items. We love trendy, not old :)
