Spreading Love This February

Spreading Love This February

Posted by Liah Escobedo on Feb 5th 2025

As Valentine’s Day approaches, it’s important to reflect not just on romantic relationships, but also on the platonic connections that provide support and companionship in our lives. Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays, especially because it gives me the chance to celebrate my love and appreciation for friends on Palentine’s Day! Here are some ways I spread the love during Valentine’s day season.

A heartfelt letter of appreciation is a simple yet beautiful way to express gratitude and love to those who mean the most. During the Valentine’s Day season, I love taking the time to show my appreciation not only to my partner but also to my close friends with a sincere letter and a flower. I recently created these letters as a fun activity with and for my friends! To make the occasion even more festive, I wore a cute floral bodysuit and denim jeans.

Letters of kindness are a beautiful gesture to surprise your loved ones, and getting crafty is a fun addition to your Palentine’s Day plans. I have this air-dry clay that I use for crafting, and it’s perfect for making little knick-knacks, like a jewelry tray. It’s an affordable, handmade activity that also doubles as a thoughtful gift for anyone in your life!

Throughout February, I love incorporating red and pink into my wardrobe. I recently found the perfect pastel pink knit sweater at my local Plato’s Closet, which was ideal for a Palentine’s Day picnic. Plato’s Closet offers a great selection of colors and patterns, perfect for any event you have planned this month—whether it's dresses, knit sweaters, or accessories! I styled this knit top with a cute clip, blue jeans and a cute handbag!

I’m spreading the love to all of you this season and throughout the year, hoping to inspire you to show love to those around you—and to yourself as well!
