Shoe Trends for Spring

With spring officially starting this week, one of the things I look forward to most is switching out my winter boots for some fresh spring shoes. For those who want to get ahead of the crowd, start shopping for the latest spring trends — it's not too late! Over the years, white shoes have made such a comeback, and you'll notice all of my favorite shoe trends consist of white. Today I'll be sharing some of my favorite styles for the season. 

Leather Heels/Sandals:

If you're looking for comfort this spring and summer, then look no further. Leather straps are in! I personally love this trend for the warmer weather because they are made with memory foam and are puffy so that they aren't as harsh on your feet. They make walking a breeze and are extremely comfortable no matter which height you choose.

Braided Sandals/Heels:

Another trend that I love is braided shoes since you have some flexibility with shoe height. Whether you're looking for a pair of heels or sandals, you're most likely going to see this shoe in either category. You'll also find that the majority of braided sandals and heels are also made with faux leather, which is another trend we're seeing lately! These sandals are perfect for a beach vacation, but they are simple and cute enough for everyday wear.

Western Boots:

The next trend that I can't help but notice as we head into spring, are western boots. I first noticed these boots being worn in the fall, but they've evolved and now are coming back as the warm weather emerges. You can also find them in short and knee-high lengths with many different patterns and designs. For this look, I wanted to keep it pretty simple and go for more of a western look, but these boots will surely make a statement to any outfit you pair them with this spring!

White Sneakers:

I love dressing down an outfit easily with a pair of slip-on sneakers, especially when I'm wearing dresses. They make an outfit feel much more casual, but they also give an edgier vibe as opposed to a more feminine look and feel when worn with sandals, booties or heels. My favorite pair of white sneakers at the moment are ones with these star designs on the side that add a little something extra. Wear these with anything in your closet for something that will transition your outfits into spring and still keep your toes warm!
