Fall Favorites: Key Pieces You Need This Season
Posted by Danielle Celio on Sep 13th 2024
I'm absolutely thrilled for fall to arrive! I've already started planning visits to the pumpkin patch and indulging in all the seasonal drinks while waiting for the cool temperatures to arrive. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, and I love wearing outfits that make me feel both confident and trendy for all of the festivities. It's also the perfect time to refresh my wardrobe, especially with the great deals at Plato's Closet! In today's post, I'll be sharing three fall essentials that will be my go-to pieces this season.
This outfit was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I knew I had to try the denim skirt trend! I have to say, I am so pleasantly shocked by how much I love a long denim skirt. It was warm this day, so I paired it with a neutral body suit, but I can’t wait to style it with an oversized sweater and my sneakers when it gets cold!
I'm all about layering during this time of year, when mornings are chilly but the afternoons can still be warm where I live. I came across this lace top that I’ve been layering under my favorite summer dresses and tank tops. I love that this lets me wear pieces for longer, and the lace adds a trendy touch under dresses right now! Layering is also a great way to add dimension and style to a simple outfit.
One of my favorite parts of fall is breaking out my comfy, cozy lounge outfits again. I live in sweat sets as soon as the air gets crisp, and I always like to grab a new one for the season. I love bold colors and prints, so when I saw this trending blue, I knew I needed it! Try spicing up a sweat set with layered gold jewelry and some crisp white sneakers for the easiest on-the-go look!
I hope you are inspired and ready for all things fall after reading this post! Fashion changing with the season is the perfect opportunity to try something new and get out of your comfort zone. Check out your local Plato’s Closet for some of these fall basics you will wear all season long!
