Elevate Your Denim Style This Season

Posted by Danielle Celio on Nov 25th 2024

Denim is the perfect year-round staple, especially for the colder weather months! I love how versatile I can make my denim outfits with different accessories and styles to fit every winter activity, from grabbing coffee downtown to celebrating Friendsgiving. Keep reading for some refreshed style inspiration for all late fall and winter events!

As a pear-shaped girl, I love when brands create a curvy line of jeans! I'm loving how confident I feel in this pair of '90s straight jeans. I also love high waists paired with a crop top and an open cardigan in the fall. This vintage denim look is the best, in my opinion, because it pairs so easily with many different styles of shoes, such as platform sneakers and boots.

I love it when brands add unique details to their jeans, like rhinestones or a crisscross waist, like the pair I'm wearing now. It adds the perfect little touch of style to elevate a simple look. The temperatures are still warm for fall where I live, so a basic bodysuit, boots, and a fun pair of loose jeans have been my go-to. These jeans are perfect for a casual day at school but can easily be dressed up for dinner with friends!

I've been a huge fan of all the fall trends this year, including long denim skirts. I was skeptical about trying this, but I've found so many ways to style it. As someone who tries to keep my fashion consumption sustainable, finding staple pieces that can be used over and over again is a must. This denim skirt with a belt is so cute when I want a casual yet elevated look. Try pairing a loose denim skirt with a crop top and sneakers for an even more casual, yet put-together look!

I hope today's post gave you some inspiration on how to style your jeans this season! If it inspired you to try a new style or cut, remember to shop at your local Plato's Closet first to check out their huge selection of denim. And remember, a good pair of jeans that you feel confident in makes for the best outfit!
